(More customer reviews)I bought this specifically for a Windows 7 system. Win 7 automatically recognizes the card and installs associated drivers. I made the mistake of attempting to install the disk that came with it and it caused a reboot and required a repair to windows startup followed by manual uninstall of the portion of the software which installed; don't do that. The card works just fine when you let windows detect it and install its own drivers, just don't bother with the software disk.
