Designed expressly for the iPod nano 2G, this ultra-portable black stereo speaker fits right in your short pocket, letting you haul along crystal-clear sound to the beach, to the campsite, and just about anywhere else. In short, it turns your iPod nano into a legitimate boombox, but in a housing that measures only 1.75 by 4 by 1.25 inches (W x H x D). The system includes a custom silicone skin that holds your iPod nano 2G in place, along with a 3.5 mm extension cable and a 6-volt AC power adapter. As an alternative, you can also run the MiniBlaster G2 on four AAA batteries (not included), which power the system for up to 10 hours at maximum volume. The MiniBlaster G2 isn't built for big sound, but its pair of 40 mm Mylar cone drivers does the job, producing a frequency response of 450 Hz to 20 kHz. And even though it's designed for the iPod nano, it also offers a 3.5 mm auxiliary input for connecting to MP3 players, portable CD players, and other audio devices. The MiniBlaster2, which also comes in white and pink, is backed by a one-year warranty.
