(More customer reviews)I had three of these and there are many that have had more. These monitors have a horrible tinting problem where the monitor is Green on one side and Pink on the other. Dell claims that it's within normal limits and actually a "feature" which is the craziest thing I've ever heard. Yes, other monitors use the same panel but they allow for multiple point calibration on the panel to counter it, but Dell only allows for calibration for the entire panel as a whole... THIS IS NOT something you can make better with software or monitor settings, believe me!
So the Green to pink tint makes this monitor useless for any serious photoshop, photography, or advertising work as your color will ALWAYS differ from one side of the monitor to the other. You can't get your greys right to save your life! Google it yourself before buying this monitor and save yourself the frustration. Also, Dell is no longer allowing users to return the monitor until they get one that DOES NOT have the green to pink tint nor will they let you get a refund for one that has a green to pink tint. Careful with your words when you return one if you're not happy!
