(More customer reviews)I have a Gateway system purchased in 2005. The sound card started producing static for any and all sounds generated. I wanted to replace the card with the exact model to minimize any software changes/updates. The card I had and wanted to order was the Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS 7.1 PCI card from Creative Labs.
The old and the new card both have model number SB0350 on the card, but the new card did NOT have the ZS after Audigy 2. My system did NOT recognize the replacement card. As a result, I had to uninstall some ZS specific software and download and install new driver software. Apparently, not all SB0350's are exactly alike.
The new card is now functioning correctly and sounds great.
