(More customer reviews)The card allowed my computer to play recent games without having to upgrade my power supply. That was the key factor in determining what to purchase, and I am still satisfied with my purchase after many months. However, the company, BFGTech, went out of business, so I'm stuff with a card that has no tech support. Thankfully, I can get driver updates from the official nvidia site, so that's not a problem.
I have noticed that this card overheats easily. It regularly runs at a fairly high tempurature. That said, as long as I don't do anything graphically intensive, it definitely performs well. For a budget card with low power consumption, this was a great purchase. I think you might want something more powerful if you are a gamer.

(More customer reviews)I'm not a big gamer. My daughter plays Sims 3 and Guild Wars with no problem. I have ran DVDs and streaming movies on this card without any lags. High resolution pictures look beautiful on it. My daughter also says the computer doesn't lag anymore when we have our Roku player going and she is playing online games, and there has been no change in speed of connection so I attribute the lack of lag to the card. It has low power consumption so I was able to run it on a 305w power supply (the minimum required is 300w for this card) a huge plus for me having a computer about 5 years old. It also has NO fan, another plus. I've had 2 fans break in the past, one from dust (I live in the desert) and another that was clean but it was just cheap and the plastic got brittle. Installation is easy if you know what you're doing, it basically just plugs into the slot and then you install the drivers after you have started the computer.
The major drawback is not with the card but with Amazon being slow to ship. I was without a computer for a week waiting for the card to arrive. They require their Amazon Marketplace sellers to ship within 2 business days and they should hold to their own standards.

ATI Technologies TV Wonder Pro PCI-NTSC (100-703138) Review

On the other hand the setup was a mess (I'm using Windows XP).
a) The CD that came with the hardware didn't have the same folder/directory structure as described in the manual. Had to browse and locate the XP drivers myself.
b) TV viewing and recording worked pretty well the first time, but the captured images had a totally green tint (red objects appeared black, so somehow "R" was missing from RGB signals). At first I thought the hardware was defective. Really freaked me out.
c) ATI.com had downloads for a newer version 8.8. I forgot to uninstall the CD's 8.2 first, and 8.8 didn't recognize 8.2 and got everything mixed up. Eventually had to uninstall both 8.2 and 8.8 and reinstall 8.8 (Urgh).
Anyway, after all this, it started working pretty well. Picture quality is decent. Video encoding works well on my humble P3 machine.
The software is not great but okay with me (I just want to watch TV and occasionally record and capture stuff so what do I care). The user interface is not very pleasing to the eyes by the way.
For $65 it's a pretty good bang for the buck. I would give it 5 stars if it weren't for the trouble I had. I'm gonna burn a CD myself and keep it for downloaded 8.8 stuff instead of that sorry CD.
