I bought this to help out a friend who was having computer problems with their Dell. I buy only Asus mother boards for my custom build computers. It would just be wiser to junk your Dell and get an HP.

(More customer reviews)I had a lot of spare parts from a build I did in 2007...processor, memory, case, etc and put them to good use with this mobo. Easy instructions with photo diagrams included. It doesn't have every bell and whistle but it's just fine for surfing and games. I'm running a free operating system from Ubuntu. Now we have an extra computer in the house and we are learning Linux - and my wife does not have to share her computer anymore.
