(More customer reviews)I purchased the Gemini DJX-03 headphones after searching all through amazon for headphones that weren't too expensive, but were sturdy. When I purchased these headphones, I was really excited: Good quality sound, comfortable, the cord was nice and long, and on top of that they were adjustable. FANTASTIC, even. Unfortunately in a mere week of use I put the headphones on and found that the right side was dead. Almost completely useless on the right side, although it is still functioning on the left. I was very frustrated because of how quickly they seemed to die, and I took very good care of them.

Numark PHX USB USB + Analog Dj Headphones Review

(More customer reviews)Great for single sound card computers, especially laptops. Build quality is perfect for entry level and intermediate usage. Frequent mobile/professional usage would demand a device with stronger materials to handle more jammin'. Works perfectly with XP & 7 with no driver installation needed. Be aware that this device may become the default primary sound card, but this is easily changed in OS sound setup. I use this with Virtual DJ on an ACER Aspire Laptop 2.2GHz AMD Turion CPU, 2GB DDR2 and there is absolutely no lag/delay between the cue output and the master output. Nice 10ft USB cable, 6ft stereo, both with screw locking action into headpiece.
Some have complained that the frequencies are off, but this device was designed for a DJ to cue etc, in a specific environment, not for casual listening on an mp3 or portable music player. For it's intended purpose, it works well. It does get a bit uncomfortable with extended usage, but hey, it is supposed to press on your ear to "seal" and block external sounds. Even the really expensive ones are only a little better with this. So hey, if you had any reservations about this (as I had), I hope I addressed some of them. I thank the previous 2 reviewers for their assistance as well.
