These speakers are great for the low price and can create a surround sound experience. The bass with these speakers is very good as well. I would recommend this product to anyone!

(More customer reviews)I have done extensive research on numerous computer speakers, everything from the simple 2.0 to 5.1 surround sound configurations for the past 6 months. I ended buying these Gigaworks Series II 2.0 speakers. Why? Because I couldn't have spent my $100 on anything else better.
Delicated tweeters for your high notes, midrange drivers for your mids, and the BasXport on top of the speakers for them lows, and all in a small 2.0 system! A lot of speakers do not allow the user to adjust their treble and bass, these do. Not a bass person? Dial it down to 0 and turn up the treble, or max out on both and anything in between. That's what the dials are there for, because not everyone is content with preset one-off factory settings.
There are users who complaint about the bright blue light glaring at them when it is on, I don't think it is that bad unless you are sleeping with them on. Some users also said that the speakers don't do too well at high volumes, as in the sound start to become unclear/muffled. I say it is true somewhat, just try not to turn it up past 75% and you should be good. Even at that level it is loud enough to be heard in my entire house, you're not running a nightclub in your house afterall.

Skullcandy Double Agent Wireless Headphone and Music Player - Brown Review

(More customer reviews)Originally I was looking for some sort of wireless headphone to work with a non-bluetooth MP3 player, and wasn't able to find anything without an adapter that was generally larger than the player itself. I had been checking these out as a potential solution, but could not find any reviews that weren't straight from the companies description of the product, to help me decide. My BF solved my indecision and just bought them for me.
Personally, I love them, but I can see a lot of things other people may not like. Here's just the facts.1.Wireless and really light.
2.The sound is not Connoisseur quality. If you are used to cheap earbuds like me, then they are fine, if you favor a robust pair of Sennheisers, I wouldn't risk it. Low and bassy, but the highs are muffled.
3.Headset is tight, which although good for me, may not be good for people with larger heads or who are more sensitive to excessive pressure on their ears. The good side is they don't fall off during anything, jogging, gym, working on projects, random frolicking in your house, etc.
4.I dig the oddball color combinations, but other people may find them too flashy. There is an all-black one however.
5.Interface is totally no frills. play/pause, volume, and next. You can put your music on it in folders, but not actually jump from folder to folder. (or at least the instructions don't tell say you can.)Again, plus for me, waste less time preparing my music and spend more time actually hitting the gym, but could be a minus for many.
5. No shuffle feature. I never use shuffle. (going from classical to house to black metal in 10 minutes makes me neurotic..)
6. Hour long charge gets you about 8 hours of play. charge via USB.(joy!)
7. You can very clearly hear button clicks while wearing them. Not so good if you want to go 50 songs forward.
8. Comes with a cord to plug into an mp3 player if needed.
9. Interface and charge are totally USB plug and play.
10.Comes with 1 GIG SD.
11. Buttons are easy to reach and press, but the symbols are not very raised. May take a few trys to get the right button before you get used to it.
Basically, if you just need a no-frills wireless solution for an active lifestyle, these fit the bill. What I imagine to be the big issues for most people are the sound quality and the tightness. Although I am very pleased with them, I would advise most people to try them on and listen to them first if you can.

The iLuv iSp100 is perfect for this use - compact, fairly inexpensive, self-contained with its own micro plug. Runs on 3 AAA batteries so you don't drain your mp3 player. The speakers come with a drawstring pouch and are just the right size for pack or pocket.
The sound? First I tried Glenn Gould playing the Goldberg Variations, and found a nice range of sound - solid midrange and definitely not tinny at the high end. For contrast, I played a couple of rocking numbers by George Thorogood. Jacked to nearly full volume, the speakers produced an ample high-quality sound that belied their size and price.
Highly Recommended! I'm going to tell everyone I know about these amazing little speakers.

ASUS Sound Card Xonar DG Review

(More customer reviews)For only Thirty one dollars I spent here on Amazon which included shipping for this Xonar DG I must say that I am am happy that ASUS decided to make a cheap card with a headphone amp. I owned a Xonar D2X and Xonar DX. Also owned creative sound cards and I will never buy another create crap. They don't even update their drivers for their older cards.
After hearing the Xonar D2X and DX I could safely say this Xonar DG sounds near identical. I honestly cannot tell the difference between any of them.
I currently run this card with a Sennheiser HD555 and Denon D2000 headphones and it does power the Denons better than the much more expensive Xonar d2x etc.
It is definitely powerful I have it set on 64 ohms aka pro gaming as they call it.
Its definitely light years improvement from onboard sound. Especially if you use good quality headphones the difference really will be night and day.
If you are using powered studio monitors like the M-Audio and stuff then you want this. Because the quality of audiophile headphones and speakers are so great they reveal the distortion in onboard. You won't notice it until you hear these, when you hear it through this sound card you will wonder how did you listen to onboard all these years.
EDIT UPDATE:
I have decided to give some feedback on the music experience some more. After some burn in and letting my ears become adjusted to it, I have noticed this card sounds warm. It has a warm and lively upfront presentation of music I guess you can also say its bright. I believe the Xonar DX and D2X was a but more laid back, with that said this thing rocks with rock music.
I am listening to the AC/DC albums in FLAC loseless audio and my god are these babies great. I wish it had some form of bass boost option though.
But over the years I had trained my ears to listen to music with a flat EQ. Before I hated it and liked over exaggerated muddy bass. But now that my ears are trained to proper music the way the artist intended me to hear it I can safely say these babies rock.
If you are a great fan of maybe music by Celine Dion and stuff I guess you could buy the Xonar DX. Those sound a little better for that type of music in my opinion. As for the SNR difference between them all I can't tell to be honest they sound the same. (Note the DX has Solid Capacitors which has a much longer lifespan than this DG and DS. Under serious heat the DX lifespan will be greatly increased compared to the DG and DS but if you have proper cooling you need not worry I have a Cooler Master HAF case)
I must also add that this card comes with the Dolby Headphone Licenses which are great for games and movies. The Xonar DS does not have this. And its more expensive so I highly recommend this card. This card is also 96khz and not 192 like the DS and DX. But I can't tell the difference. I heard the Xonar ST essence by a friend of mine and his tend to sound a little better but nothing very noticeable. And certainly not worth the asking price compared to this DG.
In closing you will not regret this card. Do not let the price fool you, this thing is Audiophile product but ASUS will never tell you this because they also want their Xonar ST to sell.
