(More customer reviews)This is really a great laptop/netbook. I've tested the battery and when I'm just doing websurfing, the battery is over 10 hours when using the battery saving option under Win 7 power settings. The touchpad is notoriously bad in msi laptops. The touchpad itself feels nice to the touch and I like the buttons just fine. It's also very accurate while using it as a mouse, it's just the scrolling that sucks. The touchpad company is sentelic and the two finger scrolling does one screen at a time. It's not the traditional motion you use for scrolling. It's more like flick your two fingers up or down, if you hold it like normal it just rapidly goes through the screen one screen at a time. It didn't come with a lot of bloatware. I didn't like that the hotkey's or fn keys don't display what they are doing on the screen when pressed. It leaves you guess whether something has actually been done or not. The webcam is pretty clear. It has the best palm rest I've had so far. There are no finger prints on it. The cover is really nice, it's glossy but it's hard to see the fingerprints. It's a really slick looking computer. It's thin and with the 8 cell battery that comes with it it tops in at 3lbs 12ounces. It's a great weight and size ratio. I have a 15" laptop and it weighs twice as much for only 2" for screen. They keyboard size was confusing. Most netbooks I've owned take the keyboard as close to the edge as they can. MSI wasted at least an inch and a half of space. They could have made buttons bigger but I also have noticed any thing while typing.

Gaming graphics 5.7

I think the performance is great on it. I mean I don't play games but the fact that I could is really nice. HD videos play with ease and the speakers I think are really great for a computer of the size. I would choose this over a macbook air any day of the week. It's over 50% less than an Air, with 2-4 times bigger hard drive, 4 hours longer battery, vga, ethernet port, and I like that it is black.
****************UPDATE UPDATE*********************************
I finally have some information that I think may change many minds about the dang sentelic touchpad. I contacted sentelic themselves and had to go the rounds with them about the scrolling down feature. I got an answer from them that fixes the problem! When you try to scroll up or down now using the two finger motion it acts as if you are pushing the page up or page down. This fix is really easy and changes it to act as a scroll wheel.
Change your page up/down motion to wheel up/ down.
Step 1: open the user interface, expand gestures, expand applications, select applications
[...]
Step 2: you'll now see a list of applications in the window, choose the application you want or just choose default
[...]
Step 3: click on modify, choose the gesture, in this case you choose the two finger motion up
[...]
Step 4: chose the function you want, change it from simulate press key, to simulate mouse wheel, make sure the sub drop down menu corresponds to the mouse wheel motion you want it to, in this case roll up.
[...]
Then hit ok a couple of times, it will apply the settings and your done. Then whatever settings you have under the wheel tab on the mouse tab window will be the behavior that happens when you do the two finger scrolling now!
No more changing out to a synaptic pad or anything. It's really changed my mind about the touchpad. I've got it now set that when I do two fingers left, it does the back button on a browser, and two fingers to the right bring up the menu like if I had right clicked something. You can't do that with the synaptic.
