(More customer reviews)I bought a brand new computer it has a Intel 2.5 quad core with 8 gigs of ram.
I wanted to play WoW on the highest settings. It struggled with 20-24 fps at the setting I wanted. The new computer came with a 1gig ATI4650 but I was disappointed with graphics. The Machine has only has a 300-watt power supply, so I was limited to what cards that could go into it without a power supply upgrade. The GT240 card runs WoW at the highest setting with shadows turned down to about ? detail with an average of 60 to 80 fps. In Org and UC it will run 100 fps. I was in SM and running 120 fps. 35 to 45 in Dal is also average.
I bought Crysis and it will run on high settings at 1480x720. It doesn't have the power to run Crysis at 1080 however. Overall if you are looking for a card to play WoW at highest settings and don't have a monster power supply in your OEM computer this is a good choice.
