(More customer reviews)The Contour GPS camera make great videos. The videos are sharp colors are clear and the light ballance is excelent. However the mechanical design is irritating and it is dificult to operate especially with Ski gloves. The On/Of power switch is small, it does not have a mechanical "click" which you should feel through the gloves. Beside you have to press it hard for few long seconds to turn it on and double that time to turn it off. The "Video On" switch is large and easy to access but its friction is too strong so when you move it the camera moves out of alignment.
The Storyteller S/W which you have to download from the Contour site, is far from mature. For example there is no way (at least I couldn't find a way) to change the directory where the movies are stored. This is a real problem since the default directory in the C drive gets clogged very fast. Beside that do not order the bundle package. There are other issues like: no indication where the files are stored and no indication if the GPS data exist at all.
The 8GB memory in that package was probably too slow and caused the camera to stoll. Videos that I took that day were all corrupted.
All in all - I would wait till Contour come with a new version of the camera and the utilities. Meanwhile my Canon SD 1400 does a great job with HD video too.
