It's the best piece of X-Fi Creative ever manufactured.
Make no mistake of it being a very old card or costly or that better options are available...Trust me there is no alternative to this card.All the Sub 125$ cards are no match for this one.This card has got better features then other X-Fi's and some more which are only available in 200$ cards..
3 years have passed since i purchased this card,Works like a charm..Sound is so exhilarating,It makes u listen to songs again and again...Music, Movies or Games Nothing is spared..In Call of Duty 4 - IMO the Greatest Game ever made..I can hear footsteps halfway across the map, that's the advantage this card gives u...
Even the much hyped X-Fi Fatality edition doesn't have this power...Don't be fooled by the marketing gimmicks of other cards.
If u want a card and can get this one easily, Go for it...As creative has stopped manufacturing this card, u won't find it everywhere. Why they stopped ? Well as they say Good things end early...It had everything...So Creative now has distributed all the features in diff cards so as to earn more profit and target specific customers , i.e Music goes to Xtreme Audio..Gamer goes to Xtreme Gamer...Enthusiast to Fatality...This card contains all the features packed into 1 and costs 50 Bucks less...And moreover it is supported in all the Operating Systems 32/64Bit Don't matter...!
Believe me,this will be your best Purchase Ever...I Disadvantage tho..u wont be able to connect your front panel to this card....For everything else there are about 30 odd pins on the card to connect everything from "spdif to Aux" and god what knows what else...
