(More customer reviews)This product works as advertised, both playing and burning Blu ray discs properly with no coasters. Like all burners, they are fussy about media types but as long as you stay with high end media, they work well. Two other thoughts....it's a pretty expensive unit, and it would be nice if it came with a small nylon carrying case for bundling with your laptop.
All in all, it works as well as the other two Blu ray burners I have (internal Pioneer 205 and LiteOn units), and is very light and convenient to pack in your laptop case. Also very nice that it has no AC transformer to have to carry around, being powered from two USB ports on your computer.
I would definately buy this unit again.
