(More customer reviews)I bought this card because I wanted to connect a dual core PC to my TV and make it a media center. It had to decode Blue-Ray and be silent. Until then, I was using a PS3 and was very happy with the Blue-Ray output but I needed access to Hulu without using software such as PlayOn. I was skeptical that I could get the same quality from a computer, especially because I had tried to play blue-ray discs using the built-in graphics card and the quality was way lower than the PS3. I was so happy to see that this card output is as good as the one from Playstation 3. Using the HDMI connection to my receiver and then to my Sony Bravia 52-inch HDTV I got 7.1 sound and stunning 1080p resolution. Without any special setup it rerouted video and sound to HDMI.
Best of all, my computer continues to be silent, my wife finds it very to use Windows 7 Media Center, you can watch Hulu without any work around.
CONS: Not great for high-end video games.
PROS: Great video output. Reroutes sound through HDMI. Silent. Cool. 1 GB DDR3. Low power and low profile. Great price.
BOTTOM LINE: This is a great card for every day computing and for a media center but if you want a card for video game, you'd better spend more money and get a different one.
