I have a 512mb SD which you never have to worry about running out of picture space unless it's filled with video which by the way can fit 1.5 hrs. I've used this camera's features limitlessly and enjoyed them throughout the way. THe pictures come out amazing outside you just need to learn how to keep a steady hand and the rest comes naturaly. THe only issue is taking night stills but with the flash it's not really a problem. The Video feature in this mini camcorder blows my mind. I've taken many videos of me and my family and friends and the quality is smooth and clear on my 17in. monitor. no huge square pixels. THe sound is a little downer but it's managable. THe Mp3 feature from this camera is something to love. just pop in a few songs on the card and your ready to listen. The battery life, as many people say is short, but i have 4aaa rechargable Rayovak batteries in and they last me about a week of taking pictures. This camera is rather amazing and i recommend it to kids and adults alike.
