(More customer reviews)I've seen many videos trying to get the sound of this easycap to get working, i tried two different products to use it on, and none of them produced sound. I have sent a claim and waiting for their reply, and i have already sent a message if i can return the defective product but it has been 4 days or so. as soon as i hear back from HDE and get it situated i will take this review off.
I do have a Windows 7 64 bit. version but when I installed it it changed the color scheme saying that the device or program was not compatible with windows. it says on the disc Windows 7 64 bit. on it.
i plugged in the device and instead of saying video capture device it said "SMI Grabber." I read a post of a Easy cap 'pro' and he told this guy that it might have been a fake one, and a lot of fake ones are going around on amazon. I do not really know how to tell Because they look the same, unless the computer reads 'smi grabber.'
Everything worked ok until i could not get any sound on the video. i tried using also my xbox and wii and found no answer.
all i have to say is 'buy with caution.'
