(More customer reviews)The Sylvania player is not bad one but i think that the battery does not last that long, perhaps just for one movie. Speakers are ok but better with headphones. I think that the picture appears to be a bit on the dark side even when the controls are up to the maximum. Picture quality is fairly decent and acceptable. For a 9" player,and fully remote controlled, i would say that it is worth the money when compared to other brands of a similar or even lesser size that cost more.
Update: Subsequent to my last review i must make an adjustment to my remarks on the player. The darkness which i experienced on some movies was the the actual movie itself. The picture itself on a good or original, is nice, crisp and rich and the volume has to do too with the actual recorded source. Some dvd`s are recorded higher than others but the battery still only last for one movie. That i believe can be fixed by the manufacturer in the future. Otherwise, i can say that this player is worth the money. So far i have not had any issues with it so do not hesitate to buy unless you have issues with the battery. If you are at home or in the office, use the ac adapter or if in the car on a road trip, the car adapter.
So, what more can i say. 1`m very satisfied.
